28	29	30 School Safety Forum School Safety Forum October 30, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm T.C. Williams High School Minnie Howard Campus (9th Grade), 3801 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302, USA ACPS, PTAC and Parents for Safe Alexandria Schools will co-host an open forum on school safety. Presentations will include the National & Virginia PTA stance on gun violence prevention, ACPS Superintendent Dr. Hutchings on our shared mission to prevent and reduce the impact of gun violence in our schools and community, ACPS Coordinator for Security & Safety John Contreras on the ALICE Violent Intruder and Say Something programs, ACPS Mental Health Specialist Faiza Jackson on anxiety issues created by the threat of gun violence in schools and how to talk to our children about the issue, and a representative from the Alexandria Police Department to discuss coordination of school safety issues between APD and ACPS.
